Research interests: (1) Identification of new biomarkers involved in the progression and metastasis of gastro-intestinal cancers that have the potential to become new targets for tumor therapy; (2) In vitro and in vivo validation of cancer biomarkers by RNA-interference method; (3) The development and optimization of in vitro and ex vivo models for immunotherapy and targeted-therapy research.
Additional research interests are: humoral and cellular immune response following COVID-19 vaccination and natural infection.
